Reward charts can be a great way to motivate kids of all ages, and it turns out the Supernanny thinks so too! The Supernanny site has free reward charts to print that are designed with different ages in mind. Charts are available for 3-5, 5-7, and 8-10 year old age groups, and there’s even a “Get Up and Go” morning chart to help with your morning routine! First observed in 1868 in honor of Civil War soldiers, Memorial Day these days for those of us who live in the US is often just a day off from work for parents and an opportunity for some family time. My favorite part of their site is the geography - free on-line map puzzles and interactive maps. Whether you’re learning the 50 United States and their capitals or you’re trying to memorize all the countries in Africa, these are a fantastic way to learn and review. Also available on the site are activities to learn letter sounds, and games to learn about medieval life (Castles, Shields, Knights, and Heraldry). Have fun!

dalmatian.JPG101 Dalmatians is hands down my favorite Disney cartoon, and has been since I was a kid. I remember driving my siblings crazy watching it over, and over, and over again! I just received the DVD as a gift a couple weeks ago and I can’t wait to watch it again! The 101 Dalmatians website has some fun games to play; Dog-Gone Escape and Twilight Bark (a Simon style memory game with barking dogs instead of colored lights). Also available are some free printable masks with six different character choices.

It has some fabulous printables, video clips, and lots of online games that are fun but still easy for younger kids. Banana 411, connect the dots, step-by-step instructions on how to draw George, a maze, a printable memory game, and more. My favorite activity is the mix and paint game, but don’t take my word for it, go try it out yourself!
