Penguin Publishing has a wonderful new reading website that has a variety of books available to be read online, and donates a book to a child who needs one every time a book is read! Through the WeGiveBooks.org website, you’ll be helping to donate books to other children while being able to read new books to your kids for free. You can choose from a number of organizations that books are donated to.
After you read your first book, you may sign up for a free membership. After signing up, there are more books to choose from and you can keep track of how many books you’ve helped to donate, which should be really motivating for both you and the kids! You can also join or start a reading group, and find more fun activities like a Ladybug Girl activity pack and a Dinosaur Encyclopedia activity pack.
I really think this is a helpful thing to do for people who might not like a book after one or two pages, and in a store you have to buy a book, so if you took a book home and read two pages of it and it was ten dollars, is that helpful?
