FreeStuff4Kids is almost 5 months old! We’ve had fun making and discovering free goodies for kids during this time and thought it might be fun to do a “greatest hits” list to highlight the most popular freebies during the lifetime of this site. If you’re a regular reader here, I appreciate your visits! If you’re new, welcome and I hope you find things here that will make your life as a parent easier and things your kids will really enjoy.
Now that we’re heading into summer, the kids will be home and looking for things to do and I have an exclusive bonus for those of you who subscribe to FreeStuff4Kids! Starting today and for the next several weeks, exclusively for subscribers, there will be a link in the feed, or e-mail (depending on how you’ve subscribed) to a download page for the “Summer Fun Book”. There are two versions- one available to those subscribing to this site’s feed and the other to those subscribing to Char Polanosky’s Printables4Kids site. We worked together to come up with some fun stuff for both younger kids and older kids. So, if you’re not subscribed already, now is the time! There are links at the bottom of this post and at the top of this page.
On with the greatest hits!
Printable Play Money is available in denominations of 1, 5 and 10 and each page has three bills.
When you’re ready to make something sweet and gooey, you’ll want to check out 13 Ways to Dress Up Your Rice Krispy Treats. There are lots of new ideas to dress up the classic dessert that I’m sure you’ll want to try!
The Printable Alphabet Tracing Sheets have been very popular with the preschool crowd
Lots of kids want to learn to draw, and there are some very good tutorials online to help them do just that. In particular, I posted a review and a link to a site that has been very popular that has step-by-step instructions on how to draw animals and people too!
And finally one of the most useful finds this year has been 101 things to do with kids. This one is definitely something to print out and keep in your bag for those times when there’s lots of time and not a lot to do!
