nameornament.jpgYou can buy ornaments for your Christmas tree at the store, but a tree entirely decorated in store bought ornaments can feel plastic and impersonal. I know some of my parents favorite Christmas tree ornaments are the ones we made when we were little. So why not make some memories with your kids to enjoy for years to come? Here are a few ideas to get you started.

Make a Name Ornament in Three Easy Steps

Materials:

  • Glass or plastic ornaments
  • Sticker letters
  • Ribbons for hanging loops

1.Choose an ornament with horizontal strips, or a solid colored ornament. 2. Make a list of the names or words you want to put on the ornament, then select letter stickers in a size that will enable you to fit the names and words onto the ornament. Press the letters onto the ornament, keeping the letters aligned at the bottom. 3. Thread the ribbon through the loop at the top of the ornament, and hang it on the tree!
