Advance preparation is key for Halloween, to keep from having to scramble around last minute for a costume. If the budget is tight this year, here are some (mostly) free costume ideas that are cute and super easy to put together:

Gel hair and pull away from face. Use white makeup on face. Start with a white sweatsuit, t-shirt, tights, etc. and over the top, glue strips of muslin, cheesecloth or gauze wrapped around entire body.
Great costume ideas, the kids are picking out their costumes right now and my son is in a panic because it’s “four weeks away!” and he hasn’t got his costume yet. APparently time is of the essence in this matter.
