I don’t know about you, but I find that it’s really difficult to find just the right thing for Dad on Father’s Day. You want him to know he’s appreciated, but you want the kids to be involved in the gift as well. Here are several ideas to help with finding something special for Dad:
Make a Father’s Day Gift Basket - fill a basket with lots of goodies, from Dad’s favorite candy, fruit, a book, IOU Coupons for some help in the yard, movie tickets, etc, anything that Dad would like.
Make Dad a Trophy – I love this simple craft with styrofoam cups and gold paint!
Father’s Day Poems – two great ones from Classroom Jr. to read to Dad
Printable Toolbox Father’s Day Activity – from Printables4Kids
Cinnamon Roasted Nuts Recipe – this is the simplest recipe I’ve seen for making these nuts and they’d make a great gift for Dad.
Father’s Day Framed Print – this idea at Dollar Store Crafts is a very low cost gift.

Thanks for linking to me. I also have a really hard time finding a good gift that works for dad. Thanks for all the great suggestions!
Hi! I’m Jordyn. Thanks for the ideas. That really helps. I was stuck. I also have another suggestion. You can make a fake guitar if he likes music. All you need is rubber bands, paper towel roll, and en empty tissue box, then your good to go!
