Halloween just isn’t the same without pumpkin carving. What kid doesn’t like making a mess scooping out gooey slimy pumpkin innards, and carving scary pictures on pumpkin faces? Every year we buy four pumpkins, one for both my husband and myself and one each for our kids and carve them all, so patterns would be a great thing to have! My favorite Halloween costume I originally made for myself, but it would be easy to replicate for a child. I bought some shiny green fabric and then did a little shopping in the already-up Christmas department of the local drugstore and bought some cheap tinsel. Decorate the fabric with the tinsel, pin it around you and tada…last year’s Christmas tree!
