Freelance illustrator Clay Cantrell has a great web site, with some really nice illustration work as well as some fun stuff for kids. I loved these simple pop-up book instructions. It would be a great project for a creative child of almost any age from preschool on. Heck… I’d like to go make one- it looks like fun!
